The Collegiate Business Association has been at Kent State University since 1977, formerly called the Minority Business Association. Active membership includes a $5.00 fee and regular attendance at meetings. This membership base for this organization is the entire university.

The Collegiate Business Association strives to further the academic and professional development of minority students in the college of business administration.

Their programming structure includes

• Guest speakers in industry and KSU departmental representatives
• Academic workshops such as study tables, test review sessions, and tutoring sessions
• Fund raisers
• Community service projects
• Freshman outreach
• Academic honors
