Program Events and Student Activities

Programs and activities expose CBC participants to a wide range of different business functions which are designed to help them establish their career direction. CBC will begin to answer and explore the following questions (among many others):
- What will I do daily on the job after completing my business degree?
- What are some of the pay and benefit packages being offered at various companies?
- What are the different business practices and philosophies of these companies?
- How do I get my foot in the door?
- What will give me the competitive edge?
- What is my leadership style?
- How can I be a more effective leader?
CBC encourages participation in professional/student business organizations and offers participants the opportunity to:
- Network with area professionals
- Tour select corporations
- Rub elbows with senior level management professionals
- Participate in human resource interview processes
- View day-to-day job operations
- Complete a 360 degree leadership assessment

Participant Benefits
One benefit of CBC participation is having a group of friends the first day on campus. This will help make Kent State University?s population of 24,000 become a more manageable community. CBC participants will receive:
