How long will the MBA program take to complete?
For a full-time student, it can take as little as 15 months or as long as two years. Professional MBA students typically take two and a half years to four years to complete their degrees. A student may, however, take up to six years to complete the degree.

MBA: 39-54 Credit Hours Required (depending on undergraduate degree)
If I have a business degree or have taken many business courses, how many hours can I waive in the MBA program?
A total of 18 hours (of the Core courses) may be waived. Typically, the Core courses will be waived if the applicant has attended an AACSB accredited institution and received a grade of "B" or better in two relevant undergraduate courses or one relevant graduate course within the last ten years.
Is there a minimum grade point average required for admission?
There are no set minimums for GPA . Our means for the full-time MBA are 3.2 - 3.4 for GPA. Our means for the Professional MBA are 3.0 - 3.1.
Is there a minimum GMAT score required for admission?
There are no set minimums for GMAT. Our mean for the full-time MBA is 525 for the GMAT. Our mean for the Professional MBA is 500.
Is there a minimum TOEFL score required for admission?
The minimum TOEFL score required for admission is 550. If you have studied in the U.S. more than two years, then no TOEFL score is required. Computer based test 213.
What are the application deadlines for the MBA program?
April 1 for International Students

Is it OK to use an employer for a recommendation rather than a professor?
Students should ask people who they believe can write a specific and objective letter of recommendation. When candidates have been out of school for two or more years, they may want to use an employer for a reference. If a candidate is a recent graduate, it is suggested that they ask a professor for a reference. In many cases, students use a combination of references.

No. The MBA program does not require a thesis.

There are graduate dormitories available; Allerton Apartments, part of University housing, may be available to both single and married students.

The Career Services Center offers assistance to students. The GSM and the GMA annually conduct programs and print helpful placement information about job search strategies and opportunities for employment.

Based on a 2004 survey, the average is $52,600 for full- time students and $59,153 for Professional MBA students.
What type of computer facilities are available to students?
The Business Administration Building contains over 250 microcomputers which are used extensively for instruction, research, and administration. These computers are connected together via a network of Ethernet hardware and Novell NetWare software. Several gateways connect the college's network to the University network and to international networks. In addition, the University offers as IBM 4381, operating under VM/CMS, that supports graduate and faculty research using SAS, SPSS, BMDP, and TSP; access to OARnet, BITNET, and the Internet is available.

Yes, as long as it is a graduate level course and has been approved by the Graduate Office.

Forty; but varies considerably by class.
Are there programs available to prepare for the GMAT, or is it possible to self-study?
It is possible to self-study for the GMAT by using one of the many study guides or software programs published through a variety of sources (ex. GMAC). Many colleges also offer preparatory courses through their Continuing Studies areas.
