Biography:

Dr. Susan Hoefflinger Taft is a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University and conducts research, teaching, consulting and writing that focuses on organizational behavior issues in health care. She began working as a R.N. before turning her focus to teaching at Case Western Reserve University, Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, and later Kent State University. Dr. Taft has been published in numerous Health Care and Management Journals and has been invited to give papers, speeches and presentations on her research all over the United States. She has also consulted with Hospitals and School Districts throughout Ohio. Currently, Dr. Taft serves as the Director of the MSN-MBA/MPA Dual Degree Program through the Colleges of Nursing and the Graduate School of Management at Kent State University. Dr. Susan Taft also serves as an Associate Professor for the College of Nursing, the Graduate School of Management and the Executive MBA Programs where she teaches Organizational Analysis and Emotional Intelligence.
