Questions on Financing Your MSFE Degree
Q: What is the tuition and fee schedule for the Financial Engineering degree?
A: The three (3) semester MSFE Program is a thirty-six (36) credit hour program. MSFE students are enrolled for 15 credit hours the first semester, 12 credit hours the second semester and 9 credit hours the third semester.
As of Fall 2008, tuition and fees for the MSFE degree were set at $21,552 for residents of the State of Ohio or $32,070 for international or non-Ohio residents. Tuition and fees are quoted for the entire one year program and include a special MSFE Program fee of $2,700 per semester. Q: What financial aid is available for students?
A: Two (2) Financial Engineering graduate assistantships are available. These assistantships are merit-based awards. While academic merit weighs heavily in the decision process, other factors such as diversity, need, special abilities, and work experience are taken into consideration.
Q: What are the requirements of the Graduate Assistant?
A: Graduate Assistants work ten (10) hours a week for the Financial Engineering Program Administrator. Tasks range from research to office assistance.
Q: What does a Graduate Assistantship cover?
A: The Graduate Assistantship covers tuition, special program fees and a stipend paid to the student.
