Are you a high school junior interested in pursuing a degree in business? Then you should apply for the Young Business Scholars Program. The five-day program occurs the summer before your senior year and allows you to study different of areas of business and experience life on campus, including residence hall living, campus dining and university activities.
Each day, you will learn about a different business discipline such as accounting, business management, computer information systems, economics, entrepreneurship, finance and marketing. You will also be broken up into teams to work on a business plan, which you will present to a panel of judges. Each member of the winning team will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Kent State’s College of Business Administration.
