Kent State University Marketing Doctoral Alumni
Kent State University has a strong tradition in doctoral education. Kent State University's marketing department conferred the first of its doctoral degrees in the early 1970s. Since that time many have followed in the footsteps of these early graduates. KSU's graduates have played prominent roles in academia, becoming leaders in the field through research, teaching and service. A number of our graduates became department chairs, deans, and university presidents.
Others, have gone on to make significant contributions to business through the application of their research and marketing skills while functioning in the role of leading practitioners. Kent State University is proud of its graduates over the years. Kent State University's Marketing Department faculty and alumni gather periodically at AMA conferences. Our first Kent State University Alumni Reception was held during the 2002 AMA Summer Marketing Educators' Conference in San Diego. We continue this tradition into the present time.
