The John F. Fiedler-BorgWarner Endowed Chair provides a focus on global
business matters for both the Kent academic community and regional
interests. This is accomplished by bringing an experienced corporate
executive to the Kent State campus to instruct students, and to participate
in and direct programs designed to enhance the importance of global
business studies. |

Since 1973, this chair has been supported by an annual donation
from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to provide a bridge
between the academic and business communities. The Goodyear Professor
is an experienced corporate/business executive who teaches courses
and directs programs, including the Pilliod
Lecture Series.
