Jennifer Wiggins Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Marketing department. She received a Ph.D. in Marketing and an M.A.B. in Arts Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to entering academia, her professional work has been in the areas of nonprofit and arts marketing, including positions in marketing and development for the Madison Boychoir, the Elvejhem Museum of Art, and the Contemporary American Theater Festival.
Her research focuses on consumer helping behavior, charitable donations, and consumption of arts experiences. She has published her work in the Journal of Marketing and the International Journal of Arts Management, presented papers at the Association for Consumer Research and the International Conference on Arts and Cultural Management, and has consulted with nonprofit arts organizations on fundraising and pricing strategies. She teaches Marketing Tools for the Managerial Marketing major and Marketing Applications for the Marketing major.
