College of Business - Strategic Management
Strategic Management Committee
This committee consists of the department chairpersons and faculty representatives from each department, an undergraduate and a graduate student representative, the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs, the Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Management, and the Associate Dean for Faculty and Administrative Affairs. The committee is chaired by the Dean or his designate. The committee is charged with:
- creating and maintaining a set of college-wide goals and objectives with a horizon of approximately five years with annual review.
- creating for each objective action items and using them to monitor and report on the college's progress on an annual basis.
- creating and maintaining a mission review process to periodically review the college's mission statement, consistent with AACSB standards.
2009 Strategic Planning Committee
In February 2009, a faculty led Strategic Planning Committee was formed to continue the College of Business Strategic Planning work. Five task forces were created to focus on these specific areas.: Undergraduate Programs, Masters Programs, PhD Programs, Research, Distance Learning and Opportunities.
